Object description
The apartment is located in the center of the resort of Glowe in the newly built village center “Boddenmarkt Glowe” and is only 2 min. from the beach. The apartment has a total living area of 60 square meters with a cozy kitchen-living room, a bedroom with double bed, bathroom with shower. The sun can be enjoyed on a large roof terrace or balcony, which is equipped with patio furniture and a beach chair. On cooler days, you can make yourself comfortable in front of the wood-burning stove. Our apartment is modern, yet comfortably furnished and offers space for 2 to 4 people (box spring bed 180 x 200 cm in the bedroom, pull-out couch 180 x 200 cm in the living area). A high chair and a crib are available on request for our younger guests. Our guests can also use a communal sauna and a launderette with washing machine and dryer (for a fee). The underground parking space leads directly to the apartment on the 1st floor. For the little ones there is a playground on the premises.

Description of the surroundings
The municipality of Glowe is located in the north of Germany’s largest island, Rügen. The coastal town is becoming increasingly popular with vacationers. It skillfully blends older, typically Nordic-style buildings with contemporary architecture, giving Glowe an endearing and inviting character.Glowe, with its extensive beach location, is the largest seaside resort in the north of the island. A 12 km long, fine, wide and gently sloping sandy beach stretches out from Glowe, connecting the Jasmund and Wittow peninsulas. The surrounding area is ideal for long walks and bike rides, where you can enjoy the diversity of nature and the pleasant climate. The village offers ideal conditions for leisure activities such as swimming, surfing, sailing, horse riding, mini golf, cycling tours and Baltic Sea and Bodden fishing. Glowe impresses with its beach location and extensive bathing opportunities, with the best air and water quality and beautiful nature.
You can enjoy the impressive biodiversity of the flora and fauna between the Baltic Sea and the Bodden as well as the many sights in the surrounding area during walks or stays on the beach. Along the beach promenade and in the harbor area of Glowe, restaurants and small stores have settled and invite you to stroll and linger. Glowe is a feel-good place for locals, bathers and active vacationers.
There are numerous sights within a radius of approx. 25 km. The Granitz hunting lodge, the chalk museum in Neddersitz, the dinosaur park in Glowe and Spyker Castle are just a small selection. North Rügen also offers a wide range of leisure activities – shopping in Binz or Bergen, golfing in Lohme, a visit to the Sörtebeck Festival in Ralswieck, a cycle tour to the Königsstuhl, Lietzow, Sasnitz and Cape Arkona or a trip on the ferry to Hiddensee. There is something for everyone.
