Object description
The vacation home, which has just been newly furnished with great care and high quality, leaves nothing to be desired! The house is suitable for a relaxing vacation for up to 4 people (plus pull-out couch and infant). From the entrance you enter the spacious living-kitchen-dining area, which is divided into two “open” areas by a wood-burning stove and a shelf as a “room divider”. From the dining area you have a wonderful view of the small “marina” of the Diemelsee. The kitchen invites you to cook and linger. In the living room area you can spend wonderful evenings with the family playing games, reading books or watching TV. The living area includes a sofa bed; extendable to 200 x 180 cm. In the basement you will find two bedrooms, both equipped with comfortable box-spring beds. In the “children’s room”, the box-spring bed can be separated into two single beds (each 200 x 100 cm). There is also a fold-out wall-mounted desk here, so that you can also escape to your “home office” and work in peace and quiet. In addition to a shower and large washbasin, the large bathroom also has a bathtub and its own sauna where you can relax in comfort. Between sauna sessions, you can relax in your own beach chair in the garden. On summer evenings you can spend sociable evenings on the terrace with Weber barbecues.for our youngest guests you will find an adjustable high chair, crib with changing facilities and children’s crockery.your car is parked right outside the front door. If you bring ski equipment or e-bikes, they can be stored in the outbuilding. There are separate, electrically powered ski lockers for ski equipment.

Description of the surrounding area Diemelsee-Heringhausen in Sauerland
The Diemelsee nature and vacation region is located in the dreamlike idyll of the North Hessian mountains on the edge of the beautiful Sauerland and not far from the tourist strongholds of Willingen and Winterberg. In winter, you can quickly reach the well-known winter sports areas of Willingen and Winterberg. Whether downhill or cross-country skiing, tobogganing, ice skating or winter hiking; the region offers our vacation guests an extensive winter sports program. 17 km of perfectly groomed slopes, modern lifts,floodlit skiing and one of the longest ski runs in the Sauerland (2 km)can be foundin the Willingen ski area . Forcross-country skiing there are almost 100 km of groomed trails for all target groups – 6 trails are certified by the DSV.
In addition, the immediate surroundings with great cafés, restaurants and bars invite you to enjoy enjoyable and entertaining evenings. In the summer season, you can relax on cool days in the nearby Wellness swimming pool in the Aqua Mundo-Park Hochsauerland in Medebach. Directly below the vacation village, you can relax in the family pool in Heringhausen with 31 degree warm water. fun with indoor and outdoor areas, sunbathing lawn, children’s area and sauna area.
Even on the last few kilometers to Diemelsee, you will notice how you leave everyday life, stress and hectic behind you. Once you reach your destination, there is a unique offer for families, friends and couples. Here you can be equally active or simply relax and recharge your batteries. The attractive mix of water and mountains, relaxation and activity offers many options to experience something new every day. - Baroque town of Bad Arolsen: Bad Arolsen Residential Palace, Waldeck Toy Museum (Massenhausen).
